Go on an immersive journey through one of the most mystifying, awe-inspiring phenomena in the universe: a black hole. Within the bounds of these stellar enigmas, where the mass of a star has collapsed into a volume smaller than a city, space and time lose all meaning. Where do black holes come from? Where do they go? How do we find them? Our travels take us from the remnants of dead stars to supermassive beasts in the cores of galaxies that hold entire star systems in the gravitational grasp.

Cost: $6.00 per student, $7.50 per Parent

WORKING BLOCK

In the buildings in the Working Block you will see how people worked, labored and produced in central Alabama in the 19th and early 20th century. You will see these workplaces as well as many of the tools used in urban and rural areas. Restrooms are available in the Lakin Kitchen. As you move through the Working Block you will also notice fig trees, a satsuma tree, and a garden—these, too, are all produced!

Cost: $6 Students, $12 Parents
3 and under are FREE

There is NO RUSH to sign up so please take your time to READ the info at the top of the google form.

I will be emailing and printing, information packets for you that will also contain all of the info.

There is no LUNCH event. Both days the plan is to meet at the park, and let the kids run their wiggles out.

In the instance of inclement weather I will have a back up plan….soon.

These locations are optional, but several you can not visit without a tour set up, or we are getting a group discount.

Pay close attention to TIME! I have allowed plenty to get from one location to another, as well as snack and bathroom breaks!

Tours will start exactly on time and you will miss out if not present.
