Mobile Symphony VIRTUAL performance of Lily & the Bull Shark

 Mobile Symphony woodwind and percussion musicians will perform Lily &
the Bull Shark, our own version of Prokofiev’s Peter & the Wolf. It features characters and habitat of the Mobile-Tensaw Delta, integrating music and science.

 The music of Lily & the Bull Shark appeals to any student, holds attention through story, helps develop interest in instrumental music
and broadens student’s exposure to the arts.

 While Peter & the Wolf is generally considered standard children’s repertoire, unfortunately, many students in our community have never had
the opportunity to enjoy it.

 I will get you some worksheets in advance and instructional materials that
will allow you to meet more arts standards and better prepare students for the experience. Through the performance, study guide, and instruction, we address the four processes of the Arts Education Alabama
